Hosue on mango street has been a very intresting read. In high school i was ssinged the book but since i was a lazy student i did not read the book. We are provided with many stories of esperanza and her experiences which help people maybee even relate to her stories. They talk about the struggles that one goes through as a child and as esperanza grows up. Also the ending there was the last sentence where i felt that it didint make sense.Does she want the people to get out , or will thye get out?

Esperansas last line for those who cannot out. is a very powerful line when i read it feels that she is trying to convey soemthing much more deeper. Maybee trying to say the people in her town will never be able to be themselfes????
